EAFA Abstract Art Show

Had this painting, Red Infinity, 36x48, done on two stretched canvas panels, accepted for the East Side Fine Arts Association 2nd annual juried abstract art show. It will be hanging at the Seattle Design Center through February.

New landscapes

Had our annual snowstorm in Seattle so made me think of summer. Went to my image file and found a couple of photos to work from. First is a 6x8 scene from Charleston, SC tidelands. This was taken by my sister on a trip there. Second is Duck Island at Seattle's Green Lake, a favorite spot of mine, two blocks from my house. This one is 8x10.

Small figure

This is a small figure done with palette knife in oils I hoped to enter in a show but the show was postponed as the gallery is now for sale. Gallery business is difficult in the still stagnant economy as art is a discretionary purchase for most. Hoping 2012 brings better times for everyone.
