Taking advantage of higher surf lately. Top is a 16x20 studio painting of a large wave. It's a little more realistic than my usual but I feel I captured the splash well.
Below are two 8x10's painted outdoors. I have painted the Kahaluu hut several times but this time caught the splash of the surf. The bottom is view from Kona Inn on another wavy day where I had a nice shadow cast on the ocean foreground.
