Here are five 6x8 completed paintings from the past few days. They include a night view of a Seattle street, a dramatic sunset over lavender fields, a view of coastal rocks and ocean, and northwest tulip fields, which are just now blooming north of Seattle.

Mountain Scenes
I have a friend who hikes and runs in Washington's mountains with her beautiful dogs, places I'd never go. She graciously provided me with some of her photos to use as a basis for paintings. Here are a few of the results. These are in order of descending size, 8x10, 6x8, and 5x7. Enjoy.

More daily paintings
I've been a little under the weather lately so slowed down the painting pace as mentally not all there some days. Here are the latest few, up to number 89 this year, in 92 days so still a hot pace. The top one is a scene from a park in Paris, with a statue. Don't remember the name of the statue though. Maybe someone can identify the location for me. This is an 8x10.
Next is a 5x7 scene of my daughter and her husband cross-country skiing in the Washington mountains, with the powerful light of sunset coming through a pass. I was trying to capture the effect of the rays streaming forward.
Last is a bucolic 6x8 scene of a mountain lake, and wildflowers. This wonderful image is from a friend of mine who runs these mountain paths with her dogs.
